PTFE rods and disks and from PTFE-based compositions
From us You may order rods, discs and blanks made of PTFE-4 and its compositions, made by horizontal and vertical pressing, and also PTFE-4 blanks, made by hydrostatic pressing.
During production by vertical pressing polymer powder is compacted into special mold and then subjected to high pressure and thermal treatment. Because of peculiarities of production technology material density stays even in the whole volume of the rod, and flash lines are not formed on the product. Diameter of vertically pressed rods and discs vary from 25 — 800 mm.
Vertically pressed rods and discs are used to make antifriction, sealing, electric insulating, and chemically resistant structural elements.
Products made by horizontal pressing do not differ in physical and chemical properties from vertically pressed blanks. Specifics of horizontal pressing is that several PTFE-4 blanks are joined along side seams under high pressure. Result is a pack of several blanks. Diameter of horizontally pressed rods and discs from 10 — 100 mm.
Also, we offer wide range of hydrostatically pressed PTFE-4 blanks. Blank diameter varies from 1000 — 1670 mm.
