PTFE sheets

Our company – the first in Russia and in the former Soviet Union which started serial production of PTFE-4 sheets size 1000х1000 and 1200х1200 thickness from 4 mm to 50 mm by pressing.  The sheets are made per TU 6-05-810-88 from powder PTFE-4 (GOST 10008-70). Earlier these products were imported fully, mainly from China.

Maximal size of PTFE-4 sheets earlier made in Russia by pressing was 600х600 mm. The larger is sheets size the more streamlined is production of various parts, as amount of expensive material waste is reduced.

PTFE-4 sheets are intended to make sealing, electric insulating, antifriction, chemically resistant structural elements used in various industries, including food industry and medicine, as process equipment parts (gaskets, cuffs, inserts, bearings, nozzles, membranes, etc.). Also, PTFE-4 sheets are intended to be used as limning and separating material in various industries. PTFE-4 sheets are resistant to action of all aggressive media except gaseous fluorine, chlorine trifluoride, solutions and molten alkali metals.

Working temperature range — from minus 269°С to plus 260°С. Production of parts from PTFE-4, PTFE-4A sheets is made by mechanical processing.

Sheets warranty storage period – 20 years since day of production.

We may produce sheets with other nominal sizes with limit deviations per drawings or specifications agreed upon between the customer and the manufacturer. Sheet warping is possible (camber) within requirements of the TU. Unevenness and unstraightness of sheets within size tolerances.
