PTFE tube
PTFE tubes – ideal electric insulating materials, which, except their excellent dielectric characteristics, have increased thermal resistance, thanks to what they may be used in any climatic conditions at temperature from -196°C to +250°C.
The products are used for electrical insulation of any wires. Cables and wires covered with electric insulation from PTFE tubes can sustain voltage up to 1000 V.
Except that, tubes are used as sealing material. They are used in pharmaceutical and medical industries for making packings for medicines and catheters, various vessel prosthetics.
Type size of the tubes:
- small tubes: internal diameter 0,3 – 2,8 mm, wall thickness 0,2 – 1,75 mm;
- large tubes: internal diameter 3 – 15,5 mm, wall thickness 0,4 – 3,3 mm.
